1Aviation’s Equipment Operator is one of the most exciting roles in our company. Behind every success of our operations are the prime movers who handle our passenger’s baggage and/or cargo while safely undertaking manual and technical ground handling activities through driving and operating various equipment. Primary Responsibilities: •Responsible for the safe operation of the equipment assigned. •Conducts equipment physical and operational checks, accomplishes checklist and ensures good operational condition upon acceptance. •Tows all cargo ang baggage pushcarts to and from the cargo warehouse and baggage build-up area. •Safely operates and connects the Ground Services Equipment to the aircraft. •Performs the required brake checks before approaching the aircraft. •After operations, safely parks the equipment to their respective parking areas, accomplishes checklist and complies with the proper turnover procedures. •Completes unloading/loading of baggage and cargo to/from the corresponding compartment within the prescribed time by the carrier. •Ensures proper usage and handling of all flight related equipment (e.g. cones, chocks, air stairs/aviramp, ULD, tail stand, trolley, umbrella, etc.)
