Basic Purpose/Job Summary To provide in-home medical assistance and deliver proper healthcare services to the patient. Responsibilities: The Private Nurse must perform the following functions: -Administering proper medications as prescribed by the physician -Assessing changes in the medical status of patient -Maintaining the confidentiality of patient’s records and medical history -Applying appropriate treatments and remedies when changes in the medical condition are detected -Documenting the changes and alterations in the patient’s vital signs and reporting them to the physician and family -Assisting the patient with daily activities -Maintaining the optimum health and well-being of the patient -Administering emergency procedures if needed
